By purchasing a ticket and in consideration for being allowed to participate in or attend Richmond Times-Dispatch's Top Workplaces Event (the “EVENT”), you (referred to as “I” or “me” in the foregoing paragraph) expressly agree to the following Assumption of Risk, Release, and Indemnification: I wish to participate in or attend the EVENT. I understand that participation in or attendance of the EVENT may involve inherent risks, both known and unknown, that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid the same. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby: (I) accept and assume all risk of injury or death to myself and DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY OR THE PROPERTY OF OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH my PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE OF THE EVENT, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES (AS DEFINED BELOW), BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, AND ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENANCE OF THE EVENT; and (ii) FULLY AND FOREVER RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Lee BHM LLC d/b/a Richmond Times-Dispatch, the EVENT venue, and any of their parent or affiliate companies, shareholders, owners, directors, officers, employees, or agents, (collectively, “Releasees”) for any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, suits, or judgments of any and every kind (including attorneys' fees), arising from any injury, death, or property damage that I may suffer as a result of my participation in or attendance of the EVENT, including without limitation such injury, death, or property damage resulting from the risks listed herein, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE IS CAUSED BY ANY OF THE RELEASEES. I agree that, in the event any person brings any claim or action individually or on my behalf related to any injury or loss suffered by me as a result of my participation in or attendance of the EVENT, I will indemnify the Releasees against such claims, including payment of attorney fees. I agree that this release and indemnification shall bind my guardians, assigns, heirs, administrators and executors forever.
